About

Nathan was a hypnotherapy client himself as a teenager, and as an adult developed a keen interest in psychology. He completed a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and a further Diploma in Stress Management & Resilience-Building with the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy. He then went on to complete the Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma with the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis.

This is underpinned by a graduate conversion diploma in Psychology and MSc Psychological Research Methods he studied with The Open University. His father is also a hypnotherapist.

Due to his experience and advanced qualifications he is an advanced practitioner registered on the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), one of the professional bodies for hypnotherapists in the UK. He has the status of Acknowledged Supervisor so can provide supevision sessions for other therapists and due to CPD training is on the Register of Smoking Cessation therapists.

He is registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) as a hypnotherapist.

He is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), the body for UK psychologists.

He is recognised as a suitably qualified and licenced practitioner by two insurers: Aetna Global Benefits and VitalityHealth. This enables those covered by these insurers to have sessions under their policies.

He lives in Bristol and works in the public health sector during the day, so is usually available to see private clients in the evenings.

Outside of work he takes part in amateur theatre, does painting and self-publishes board games.
